The microstructure of the sintered bone was observed by scanning electron microscope and mercury porosimeter. Results showed that the sintered bone possess the three dimensional space structure composed of macropores and micropores. The diameter of macropore was 50-400 μm and the diameter of micropore was about 1 μm. Results suggest the sintered bone of β-TCP remains the porous structure of natural cancellous bone which is benefit to growing of new bone.
