Two kinds of silicon samples with distinct surface treatment, i. e., one surface was chemically etched and the other was unetched, were used to investigate the characteristics of leakage current and surface flashover of semiconductor under impulse voltage in vacuum. The experimental results showed that the surface conditions of samples affected these characteristics greatly. Before flashover, the Ohmic current was observed for unetched samples and the space charge limited current for etched samples, respectively. Meanwhile both samples showed quite different flashover tracks, and the surface-etched samples displayed a much higher onset voltage of flashover.

To distinguish the fake whitened nephrite jades from the natural ones becomes a challenge to archeologists and antiquaries. This study mainly inquires into the reactions of nephrite during different conditions of acid/base/heat treatments, to find out the characteristics of fake whitened nephrite jade. The surface structure, whitening conditions of nephrite and elements dissolution in acid/base solutions are examined. Non-destructive Raman spectroscopy is also used to observe their crystal structure changes in each stages of treatments.

Bidentis were studied by adopting indoor bioassay. The results showed that the volatile matter of F. bidentis had not allelopathy to four receptor plants. The eluviated matter inhibited seedling growth of cotton obviously, the inhibition ratio of root and stem were 6.29% and 10.42% respectively. The aqueous extract of litterfall and root exudates had different inhibition to four receptor plants, The synthesis effectof all treatments was significantly greater than eluviated matter treatment except for B3 of the aqueous extract of root exudates, such as the synthesis effect of all treatments (A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, B3 and eluviation) were 44.74, 29.37, 14.5, 31.54, 16.52, 3.55, 1.48 respectively.
