此次设计是对拨叉零件的加工工艺和夹具设计，其零件为锻件，具有体积小，零件复杂的特点，由于面比孔易加工，在制定工艺规程时，就先加工面，再以面为基准来加工其它，其中各工序夹具都采用专用夹具，特别的对于加工大头孔、槽和钻小头孔斜面小孔的工序中，选一面两销的定位方式，并以操作简单的手动夹紧方式夹紧，其机构设计简单，方便且能满足要求。

本次设计的群铸模具采用一模六腔形式，生产效率高；模具分型面选择磨球的中性面，使得分模方便；浇注系统采用浇冒口一体形式和集渣包设计，保证了良好的加工工艺和补缩；锁模方式为重力锁模；砂芯采用石英砂，并在表层涂以耐高温涂料；芯盒导套选择一定的锥度，使取模容易；芯盒镶块运用数控加工，降低了生产成本；分度胎具保证了同种规格模具具有良好的互换性，而且因为所有加工基本都可以在普通机床上完成，生产成本低，可以为中小型企业普遍采用；在加工工艺编制过程中，采用两端面互为基准，球腔用专业夹具加工；Autocad，Pro/e分别制作了模具的二维和三维立体图，并运用Pro/e制作了三维动画演示。
