The eighth-day of the tour was Mother's Day, with a planned 117-kilometer ride. The VP Components staff joined the ride from Taitong Cheng Gong. After lunch at a Shihtiping restaurant, the Hualien Giant bike shop owner, cycling friends and the Taiwan national team coach, Tim Ti accompanied A-Team riders at Hualien for part of the journey. It was close to the end of the round-island trip. With no tough roads over the following three days, the A-Team riders described today's route as the final examination of the tour.

在母亲节这一天，A-Team环岛活动也进入了第八天，在鋐光公司员工的陪骑下，由台东成功出发，中午在石梯坪用餐后，则由花莲捷安特的店老板、车友们和自由车教练狄懋昌接手陪骑至花莲市，全长117公里；由於环岛行程已近尾声，且后面三天已没有困难的路段，因此会长将本日行程形容为A-Team环岛车队成员们的期末考。
