It has been decades of years that the domestic highway is paved with 1.5-to-2.0 centimeter-deep open graded friction course. According to studies on road maintenance, the rain cannot be drained immediately on the border between lower unbent and horizontal gradients, as Taiwan is located at subtropics, and temporary summer showers are frequent in the south. Such a condition often leads to large amounts of water on the road and greatly influences driving safety.

国内高速公路面层铺设开放级配摩擦厚度1.5~2.0cm之经验已有数十年，惟依路面养护搜集资料显示，因台湾地处亚热带，气候为高温多雨，尤其南部路段易於夏季下间歇性暴雨，致於纵向坡度较低及横向坡度变化交界处，雨水无法即时宣泄，易产生积水现象，影响行车安全甚巨。

According to the practical observation and result of WEPP model simulating, the rate of the soil erosion was the biggest when the slope was 18-23. The reasons were that hydraulic friction and change of the acceptant area-were decided by steep and slow of the slope.

用WEPP模型来模拟皇甫川流域坡面与侵蚀量的关系是可行的，根据试验观测及WEPP模型模拟得到结果，皇甫川地区的土壤侵蚀率在坡度是18~23℃时最大，原因主要有坡度的陡缓决定了水力阻力的大小和坡面承雨面积的改变等。

The results showed that slope form was the most important factor which influenced diameter, height and trunk's basic volume weight of Alnus cremastogyne from plantation and the slope with less than 45 degree influenced the diameter and height insignificantly.

结果表明，影响桤木人工林胸径和树干公定容重的首要地形因子是坡形，其次是坡向，再者是坡位，而小于45°的坡度影响不显著；影响桤木人工林树高的首要地形因子是坡形，其次是坡位，再者是坡向，小于45°的坡度影响同样不显著。

By comparing and analyzing, it is concluded that for simple and slow slope terrain, the change of wind speed around hill can be truly calculated by some experimental formula such as MSFD calculations. While for cliffy slope and complex terrain experimental formula cant calculate the wind speed truly, it is well to analyze the question by numerical simulation.

通过对比分析可得，对于简单的、坡度较小的地形，山丘周围的风速变化可以较准确的由一些经验公式，例如MSFD理论模型计算得出；而对于坡度较大的以及较复杂的地形，经验公式无法较准确地对风速做出估算，只能借助于数值模拟来分析。

蓑草根系平均直径0.20~0.50mm， 95%的根系平均直径小于0.40mm，根系总表面积10139.68cm^2，在土壤表层根系表面积高达土体表面积的2~3倍，根系表面对土壤颗粒的巨大吸附作用是蓑草显著提高土壤抗侵蚀能力的另一个重要原因。2003~2004年的监测结果表明，在12度坡度情况下，坡改梯后净作蓑草年径流量仅49.90立方公尺/hm^2，年土壤流失量为155.78kg/hm^2，而未坡改梯且农作情况下，年径流量314.29立方公尺／hm^2为前者的6.30倍，年土壤流失量3322.50Kg/hm^2为前者的21.33倍；在24度坡度情况下，坡改梯后土埂及边坡种植蓑草、坡面农作年径流量248.04立方公尺/hm^2，年土壤流失量612.00kg/hm^2，坡改梯后净作蓑草径流量42.44立方公尺/hm^2，土坡流失量l53.75kg/hm^2，而未坡改梯且农作情况下年径流量高达785.73立方公尺/hm^2，分别为处理1的3.17倍，处理2的18.52倍，年土壤流失量高达37503kg/hm^2，分别为处理1的61.33倍，处理2的244.12倍。
