A brief discussion on seismic design of high arch dams is made through the following three aspects:interaction of arch dams-foundation-reservoir water,dynamic stability of high arch dam abutment ,effect of transverse slots on seismic design of high arch dam,and those aspects referred to above is not enough for seismic design of high arch dam.

对高拱坝的抗震设计进行了分析，包括拱坝坝体-地基-库水动力相互作用分析、高拱坝坝肩抗震稳定分析、横缝对高拱坝抗震设计的影响，仅对高拱坝抗震设计研究的几个方面进行了概括总结。
