With the presented methods, the settlement and stability of an extended landfill in Hangzhou are analyzed systematically. Geomembranes and liner system between the extended landfill and the old one especially above the toe of the old dam are probable failure places due to ununiform settlement. Some suggestions about the design of liner systems are also put forward in this thesis.

本文利用上述方法，比较系统而全面地分析了杭州某填埋场扩建工程的沉降和稳定问题，指出原填埋场和扩建部分的交界面尤其是原垃圾坝坝底上方为土工膜及覆盖系统容易破坏的地方，并提出了关于衬垫等系统设计方面的建议。

Based on systematic analysis of various desilting methods by using existing reservoirs, the paper puts forward an overall thinking of desilting system of auto-suction pipe of the Xiaolangdi Reservoir, i.e. to automatically discharge the deposited fine sands within about 40 km area in foreside of the dam through dam tunnel or tunnel on the right bank of mountain by placing a removable and lengthable pipe equipped with a suction head in the near dam section of the reservoir area.It can discharge 300 million tons sediment each year by preliminary estimation.

在系统分析已建水库各种排沙方式的基础上，提出了小浪底水库自吸式管道排沙系统总体思路，即利用水库自然水头，在近坝段库区内铺设可移动并带有吸泥头、可逐渐加长的管道，自动地将坝前约40 km范围内淤积的细颗粒泥沙和通过过坝隧洞或右岸山体内的隧洞排出库外，初步估算每年可排出泥沙3亿t。

The reservoir was built in 1958, it was expanded on the basis of the natural like. The reservoir consists of bounded bank, secondary lake bank, segregate intake gate. The perimeter of bank is 88. 3km, and it was constructed in later 1950's.
