Physical and mechanical characteristics of rock and soil disposed from open pit is measured by means of engineering geological survey and hydrogeological survey as well as large amounts of laboratorical and field tests, based on the analyses of geological dates. Slope stability of waste-disposal sites is simulated by intelligential finite element method and predicted by BP nerve network method.

本研究在收集大量资料的基础上，通过工程地质、水文地质调查、勘察，以及大量的现场和室内试验，得出了新桥矿业有限公司露天排土场主要岩土物理力学性质，利用智能有限元方法进行了排土场边坡稳定性分析，并采用BP神经网络方法对边坡的稳定性进行了预测评价，在此基础上，对排土场排土工艺进行了优化研究。
