Geopolitics has been widely used as a new theoretical frame in the research of international strategy.

This paper embraces four parts:The first part is an explanation to the meaning of geopolitics.

文章的主体除导论外，由以下四部分构成：第一部分，地缘政治学的涵义。

The ostensible favourite is the current locum tenens, Metropolitan Kirill of Smolensk, a tough and sophisticated practitioner of geopolitics as well as politics of the ecclesiastical sort.

The main line includes four levels as follows:firstly,theopposition of the sea power and land power;secondly,the opposition of thecontinental Hertland and the Rimland;thirdly,the contradiction of center andperiphery,based on the stretched dichotomic analysis of geo-economics;fourthly,difference between ground space and air space.

这一主脉体现为四个层次：第一层次是海权和陆权的对立，第二层次是大陆心脏地带与边缘地带的对立，第三层次是将地缘政治学的二分延伸到地缘经济上，形成了"核心区域—边缘区域"的矛盾，第四层次是在此基础上所展示的地面空间和空中空间的区分。

Based on the comprehensive researchof fundamental geopolitical theories,the dissertation reveals a dichonomic structure--the most important content and characteristic of geopolitics——influenceinternational relations with some disciplines by special modes;fourthly,with the logicof dichonomy,the dissertation analyses and researches the geopolitical position andstrategies of China,as one of the most important powers in the Rimland.

地缘政治学的基本理论不过对此作出了理论上的反馈；4、以二分论的理论逻辑，分析和研究了作为边缘地带最重要的大国之一、而又必须处理好海陆关系的中国的地缘政治地位和地缘政治战略，提出了要从地缘位置的一分为二到地缘选择的合二而一，对中国的地缘战略进行新的定位。应该指出的是，虽然本文追述了西方地缘政治学的一些基本理论和观点，但是本文的基本概念、主要观点、研究角度、逻辑论证和最后结论都是作者本人提出的。

It also probes into the problems of the tourism development and the geo-environmental traits of the Tibetan-Yi Corridor from a new point of view. Geopolitically, the Tibetan-Yi Corridor acts as a passage and functions as a barrier as well. In the Corridor, the valley from the north to the south of Hengduan Mountains used to be the passage of the ancient migration.
