Upon the request of the litigants in patent disputes, the municipal intellectual property right bureau strictly followed the principle of "being strict on procedures, being standardized on law enforcement, being fair in results" together with the norm of "People Foremost" in mind, mediated about 14 patent disputes concerning the candleholder patents infringement, etc, in between 4 cases were put on record, 4 cases were closed. It effectively mediated the patent disputes between the litigants, strengthened patentees' independent innovation confidence, defended the fairly competitive market order.

为充分发挥知识产权保护在整顿和规范市场经济秩序中的作用，2006年9月至12月，我市在商贸流通领域开展了为期三个月的知识产权行政执法专项行动，市知识产权局、工商局和版权局共出动知识产权行政执法人员40人次，对全市30余家商贸流通企业开展执法检查，涉及40余万种商品，536种有专利标记的商品，发现97种商品的专利标记不规范，涉嫌冒充专利，市知识产权局及时向各相关单位发出了整改通知，限期进行处理，并现场对商贸企业增强知识产权意识、建立完善知识产权管理制度等进行了宣传辅导。
