Light comes to the soul through God's word, through His servants, or by the direct agency of His Spirit; but when one ray of light is disregarded, there is a partial benumbing of the spiritual perceptions, and the second revealing of light is less clearly discerned.

真光来到人心里，有的是藉著上帝的仆人，有的是藉著上帝的话，或由上帝直接的代表圣灵；但人见了一线真光若置之不理，则他属灵的知觉就会麻木，当真光再次显现时，他就不能像第一次那么认得清楚了。
