Three TM/ETM+ image (1999, 2002, 2007) were used. Land use change areas were determined by using two change detection techniques of post-classification comparison and spectrum comparison. The resultant change images obtained by the two change detection methods were overlaid to obtain more accurate change information.

本研究选取了1999年、2002年与2007年3期的TM/ETM+遥感图像，采用分类后比较法对沽源县1999~2007年的土地利用变化进行信息提取，再通过两者的叠加分析，获得了较为理想的变化监测结果。

In the future, the development of the landscape studies in Taiwan will still be based on the principles of ecology to strive to add the value of landscape science by many aspects, such as reducing the social cost for the disasters caused by nature or human, finding a better way to assess the landscape resources, establishing suitable models to plan and monitor land-use, defining the specialized field and responsibilities of the landscape experts, building up a planning and designing style to fit up with the natural and societal cultural needs of Taiwan.
