This paper analyzes the structural change of land utilization and economic profit of Economic Belt on the Northern Slope of Tianshan Mountains by using qualitative and quantitative methods, pointing out that population increase, economic development and the progress of technology as well as industry escalation are the major driving forces for land use change of the area.

采用定性定量相结合的研究方法，对天山北坡经济带的土地利用结构变动情况及其相应产生的经济效益做具体分析，其中人口增加、经济发展和技术进步及产业聚集、升级是该区域土地利用结构变化的主要驱动力。
