We attached for the first time -NOBIN to Frechet-type dendron units. The syntheses of 16 kinds of dendrimer-based NOBIN Schiff-base ligands were achieved in a straightforward manner by simple condensation of -NOBIN with the corresponding salicylicaldehyde derivatives, of which 12 belong to the dendritic Schiff-base ligands and 4 belong to the non-dendritic Schiff-base ligands.

These dendritic NOBIN derived Schiff base ligands have been applied to titanium catalyzed hetero-Diels-Alder reaction of Danishefshy's diene and aldehydes, affording the corresponding 2-substituted 2, 3-dihydro-4H-pyran-4-one in quantitative yields and excellent enantioselectivities (up to 97. 2%ee). Comparing the reactivities and enantioselectivities of reaction catalyzed by the titanium complexes of these Schiff base ligands, it was found that a series of ligands L〓 were superior to the other three series of ligands L〓, L〓 and L〓, a significant positive NLE and a dendrimer effect existed in the L〓 dendritic catalyst system. The disposition of the dendritic wedges and the dendron size in the ligands were observed to have a significant impact on the enantioselectivity of the reaction.

The four white-rot fungi only produce manganese peroxidase and laccase. Pleurotus eryngii and Pleurotus ostreatus are selected, due to their high enzyme activities, for the degradation and decolorization of alkali lignin.

The four stereoisomers separated by TLC showed identical mass spectra and almost superimposed IR but with different 1H NMR spectra. The configuration of the 2'-C and 3'-C of the four isomers were postulated based upon their 1H NMR spectra as compared with the 1H NMR spectra of isoharringtonine and its stereoisomers.

To produce the scientific evidence for developing and manufacturing new antitumor drugs.Methods: 1 The inhibitory effect on cell growth of Hela was measured by MTT assay in treated or untreated groups (3.125, 6.25, 12.5, 25, 50μg/ml TAM and control) for three different treatment times (24h, 48h and 72h).2 Apoptosis and cell cycle were measured by FCM in four experimental groups (0, 4, 16, 40μg/ml TAM) for 48h.3 Adopting Wright and Giemse's staining to observe the morphology of Hela cells which treated with 40μg/ml TAM.4 Using invasion experiment to detect the Hela cells'invasive abilities which treated with 40μg/ml TAM.5 The protein expressional levels of P-ERK, ERK, C-myc and Cyclin D1 in Hela cells untreated or treated with 4, 16, 40μg/ml TAM for 24h were measured by Western blot.6 Expression of anti-apoptotic gene bcl-2, apoptotic gene bax and MMP-9 in Hela cells of four experimental groups (0, 4, 16, 40μg/ml TAM for 24h), were observed by revers transcription PCR.7 The protein expression of P-ERK, ERK, Bcl-2 and Bax in Hela cells treated with 40μg/ml TAM for 24h observed by laser scanning microscopes.
