An aerosol spray device which is capable of imparting a unipolar charge by double layer charging and charge separation to liquid droplets of a composition sprayed therefrom has a spraying head in the form of an insert in an actuator, the spraying head having a bore through which liquid is expelled having an outlet, preferably with a tortuous periphery, having an L/a ratio of at least 8 (preferably at least 10) where L is the length of the periphery defining the bore outlet in mm and a is the cross-sectional area of the bore outlet in mm2 and the apparatus being constructed such that the droplets are expelled from the spraying head at a flow ratio of at least 0.4 (preferably at least 0.5) grams per second and have a charge to mass ratio of at least +/-1x10-4 C/kg.

The results show that the discharge and cooling stages of sparkjet were simulated by computational method. The instance energy input can produce the condition of high pressure and temperature in the actuator, which induce the forming of synthetic jet. With the increment of the input energy, the velocity of the synthetic jet could be increased to the supersonic state. Under the periodic energy input, the distribution of the sparkjet velocity on the nozzle is non-sinusoidal. And the discharge velocity of jet is much larger than the suction velocity of the flow from environment.

计算结果表明：采用本文的计算方法可以模拟出火花型激励器喷射、吸入的工作阶段；电火花瞬间能量的输入产生了腔体内的高温、高压环境，从而诱发合成射流的形成；当激励能量增加，激励器产生的合成射流速度增加，可达到超声速状态；周期性激励下，火花型合成喷喷口处的轴向平均速度随时间不是正弦分布，且喷射过程的最大速度要远远大于吸收过程的最大速度。

In addition, as the secondary steam get in direct contact with the ejection flow to carry out heat exchange, most steam is condensed into water, while the uncondensed small minority steam and the uncondensed gas will also get into friction, with the high speed water ejection, mixed and extruded, then discharged through diffusing pipe, thus to form up higher vacuum inside.

另外由于二次蒸汽与喷射水流直接接触，进行热交换，绝大部分的蒸汽凝结成水，小量未被冷凝的蒸汽与不凝结的气体亦由于与高速喷射水流互相摩擦，混合挤压，通过扩压管被排除，使器室内形成更高的真空。
