These results suggested that corm formation could be improved by MJ but suppressed by SHAM through regulating the LOX activity, resulting in carbohydrate accumulation and increase of antioxidant enzymes activities in Gladiolus hybridus .

以上试验结果说明SHAM对唐菖蒲试管结球起抑制作用，而MJ有明显的促进作用，可能通过外施MJ提高了LOX活性及内源MJ含量，调动碳水化合物的积累，增加抗氧化酶的活性，从而对球茎的发生和生长进行调控。

In contrast, these physiological and biochemical indexes were increased under MJ treatments, in which, 0.5mmol·L-1 was the optimal concentration for promoting corm formation in Gladiolus .
