Two rice varieties, named Weiyou 402 and Eryou 416 were selected to grow in arsenic spiked soils (0, 10, 20 and 40 mg·kg-1 arsenic) and "natural" arsenic soils (1∶1 of geogenic high level arsenic soil from Guizhou province and silt loam soil from Beijing) in a greenhouse, to compare their arsenic uptake, accumulation, speciation and related health risks.

段桂兰 中国科学院生态环境研究中心，北京 100085以2个水稻品种威优402号和Ⅱ优416号为实验材料，采用温室栽培方法研究对比两个品种水稻在人工添加砷处理（0，10，20和40mg·kg-1）和模拟自然砷污染（贵州高砷土和北京褐土的混合土，质量比为1∶1）胁迫条件下的生长发育状况，分析砷在水稻不同部位的累积、形态转化及其健康风险。

In this study, an attempt is made to account for the observed difference in the susceptibility of Gossypium hirsutum L.(cv. BD-18 and Simian 3, resistant and susceptible to V. dahliae, respectively) to toxin of Verticillium dahliae, by looking for differences in the timing and level of production of NO and H_2O_2, and their effects on the expression of GST gene.

本实验以棉花抗病品种BD-18和感病品种泗棉三号的悬浮细胞为材料，研究了棉花细胞在黄萎病菌毒素处理后H_2O_2和NO的变化，并用半定量RT-PCR的方法检测毒素、H_2O_2和NO对棉花谷胱苷肽-S-转移酶基因转录水平的影响。

The physiological and biochemical resistant mechanism of tea cultivars to tea brown blight caused by Guignardia camelliae. 茶树抗云纹叶枯病的生理生化机理研究利用分光光度计对茶树叶片中过氧化物酶、多酚氧化酶、过氧化氢酶，苯丙氨酸解氨酶的活性进行了测定分析，结果表明：感染茶云纹叶枯病菌前后，抗病品种和感病品种当年生成叶中防御酶活性变化规律存在一定的差异。

Morphology of sexual reproduction abortion in'High Noon', a distant hybridization cultivar of tree peonies(P.delavayi var. lutea×P. suffruticasa), was systematically investigated with light microscopy and cross. The results indicated that:(1)The stamens matured earlier than the gynoecia and pollens dispersed at the early stage of anthesis but the rate of normal 2-celled pollens were merely 2.41%.

采用光镜和杂交等方法对牡丹远缘杂交一代品种'正午'有性生殖败育进行系统形态学观察发现：(1)雄蕊较雌蕊先成熟，初花期即散粉，正常2-细胞花粉仅占2·41%，且花粉在多种培养液中、在自身和其它两种柱头上均不萌发；柱头在谢花期大量分泌粘液，进入最佳授粉状态；(2)同一胚珠中多个大孢子母细胞减数分裂高度不同步，胚囊发育与受精延迟，部分胚乳游离核在细胞化时期分裂异常；(3)自花及品种内异花授粉不结实，天然授粉结实率为0·053‰~0·130‰。

New strains with high protein and fatty acid and high yield could be selected by HAB.The characteristics of these variations in the new strain is hereditable.

瘤茎产量与营养生长期、瘤茎膨大期、瘤茎横径、茎/叶、株鲜重呈极显著遗传正相关，与菜形指数、菜皮百分率呈极显著遗传负相关，与其余性状相关均未达显著水平；与瘤茎产量显著相关的性状间关系密切，有很好的协同性，分析提出茎瘤芥育种选择熟性晚、瘤茎横径大、茎/叶高和植株个体较大的品种，可实现品种产量高、生态适应性强和瘤茎品质较佳等三者的协调统一。

Tumorous stem yield was only significantly hereditarily positively correlated with vegetative duration, developmental duration, ratio of stem and leaf, horizontal length and whole plant fresh weight, negatively fur percentage and tumorous stem index. The clustering analysis classified the 24 cultivars into 2 groups and 5 subgroups, which respectively corresponded to indica-japonica differentiation and known rice heterotic groups based on pedigree information and blast reaction.
