The effects of low irradiance on chlorophyll a fluorescence kinetics were studied in two eggplant Solanum melongena L.

根据快速叶绿素荧光诱导动力学原理，选用耐弱光茄子品种99-8和不耐弱光茄子品种黑又亮作试材，进行遮光（光照强度相当于自然光照的40%）15 d、未遮光15 d、遮光30 d和未遮光30 d 4个处理，用JIP-测定法对不同耐弱光性品种在不同光照条件下的叶绿素荧光特性进行研究。

Karyotypic findings showed that all cultivars were mixoploid with chromosome number ranging from 49 to 57, and 54 was the most frequent number observed.

结果表明：（1）17个栽培小菊均为混倍体，染色体数在49～57之间变异，以54条为主；（2）染色体呈现多态性：多数品种由中部、近中部和近端部着丝粒染色体组成；最长与最短染色体的比值为1.62～2.39；臂比＞2的染色体所占的比率为11.11%～29.62%；核型不对称系数为59.74%～63.37%；3个地被菊品种和'奥运橙光'、'金陵白凤'（2n=53）核型类型为&2B&，其它品种为&2A&型。

These primer combinations produced a total of 1 119 bands, 229 specific loci (including 54 absent bands, and 175 monomorphic bands). Among them, 983 polymorphic bands, accounting for 88%, were detected. The percentage of identification per primer combination was as high as 100%. The average PPB of 14 foreign cultivars was 35.86% and the average PPB of seven domestic cultivars was 31.51%.

结果表明：8对引物共产生1 117条谱带， 229个特异位点（其中缺失带54条、单态带175条），多态带983条，多态带的比例为88%；每对引物鉴别效率为100%。14个国外银杏观赏品种平均多态带的比例35.86%，7个国内品种平均多态带的比例31.51%。21个观赏品种之间相似系数为0.4899～0.8499。

The results showed that bulb height and flower size of 'Large Copper' were least, with longest white short soft hair on stem. Obvious characteristics of 'Toronto' were nacarat and lackluster membranous bulb scales, leaves with rufous stripe and base of perianth shape and colour. Obvious characteristic of 'Pink Impression' were taller plantlet, bigger flower, taller and wider leaves and edge of leaves with short hair.

结果表明：品种Large Copper的种球高度和花径均最小，茎上白色柔毛最长；品种Toronto的显著特征是种球的膜质鳞片为桔红色，无光泽，叶片上有红褐色条纹，花被片基部为黑色舌形；品种Pink Impression植株高，花大，叶片长而宽，叶缘有短毛。

No callus could be induced from leaf or petiole explants of varieties F30 and Ⅱ cultured on MS medium if supplemented alone with 6-bezyladenine （6-BA） or thidiazuron, or kinetin. However, the calli were induced on MS medium containing 2.0 mg L-1 6-BA and 0.5 mg L-1 NAA （α-naphthaleneacetic acid）, and the calli derived from petioles of variety Ⅱ could produce redifferentiated shoots, but of variety F30 could not. The later could only produce shoots directly from the base of the petioles.

将品种F30和Ⅱ的叶片和带叶叶柄接种到含不同浓度单一细胞分裂素（6-BA、TDZ、KT）的MS培养基上培养，均未能诱导出愈伤组织，而在含2.0mgL-1 6-BA＋0.5mgL-1 NAA的培养基上可以诱导出愈伤组织，且由品种Ⅱ叶柄诱导产生的愈伤组织可再分化出芽，品种F30诱导的愈伤组织却不能分化，但在其叶柄基部可直接出芽。

Except 3 cultivars, the cultivars with Contender-type phaseolin have their erect stem, and the culitvars with Sanilac-type phaseolin have their voluble stem.

除3个品种外，凡菜豆球蛋白含3主要多肽的品种都是茎直立的矮生类型；而只有2主要多肽的品种都是茎缠绕的蔓生类型。

Based on the genetic distance of 26% by SSR data, the cluster analysis with un-weighted pair-group method using arithmetic averages produced 2 major clusters: cluster Ⅰ of higher degrees of genetic differentiation and Cluster Ⅱ of lower degrees of genetic differentiation relatively, which are composed of 30 cultivars, and another cluster of much higher degrees of genetic differentiation, which is only composed of the cultivars of FHIA 25 and Pisang Jari Buaya.

The polymorphism information content ranged from 0.00 to 0.88 and averaged 0.62. The averaged pair wise genetic distances among cultivars were estimated from 0.00% to 34.27% with an average of 12.45%, which revealed a narrow range of variability among cultivars, except for FHIA 25, Yangambi KM 5, Pisang Jan Buaya, Rose and Huangdijiao.

依据SSR数据计算的品种间遗传距离在0.00%~34.27%，平均12.45%，大多数品种间的遗传变异非常有限，但也存在着遗传差异突出的品种：FHIA25、Yangambi KM 5、Pisang Jari Buaya、Rose和皇帝蕉。
