MethodsFrom January 2003 to June 2008, 109 (98 males and 11 females) cases of severe OSAHS were treated with UPPP. All patients were checked with a fiber optic laryngoscope of Muller and X-ray or CT for upper air flue when they were in a waking state to locate the collapse level (oropharyngeal and palatopharyngeal level, most of them had an obstruction on the oropharyngeal level). After the UPPP, they were sent to the ICU and monitored with trachea cannula for 1 to 2days.

方法对重度OSAHS患者行UPPP联合舌骨悬吊术109例，每例患者术前均行清醒状态纤维喉镜下Muller检查、上气道的X线片或上气道CT测量，术前确定阻塞平面为腭-咽及舌-咽平面，但以舌-咽平面为主，均行UPPP联合舌骨悬吊术，术后均于ICU保留气管插管监护1～2d。

Results:Palatopharyngeal data of normal adults and patients with OSAS are as followed,length of softpalate:27.68±7.17 mm,29.94±4.71 mm(P＜0.05);width of uvula:8.40±1.18 mm, 10.74±1.68 mm(p＜0.01);length of uvula:10.20±2.85 mm,11.94±2.84 mm (P＜0.01);distance of pharyx:23.70±7.05 mm,19.87±4.40 mm(P＜0.05);distance of palatopharyx:12.36±3.97 mm,9.80±2.90 mm(P＜0.01).All of which were significantly different.

结果：正常人和OSAS患者所测腭咽解剖指标分别为：软腭长(27.68±7.17)mm，(29.94±4.71)mm(P＜0.05)；悬壅垂宽(8.40±1.18)mm，(10.74±1.68)mm(P＜0.01)；悬雍垂长(10.20±2.85)mm，(11.94±2.48)mm(P＜0.01)；咽侧距(23.70±7.05)mm，(19.87±4.40)mm(P＜0.05)；腭咽距(12.36±3.97)mm，(9.80±2.90)mm(P＜0.01)，均存在显著差异。

The pharyngonasal, pharyngo oral and pharyngolaryngeal part of the OSAS groups all were narrower than the control one.

OSAS病人鼻咽腔、口咽腔和喉咽腔截面积均比正常人小（P.05）。

The pharyngonasal, pharyngo oral and pharyngolaryngeal surface were measured, finally the differences of their pharyngeal surface were defined between the control group and the OSAS groups, also the differences among the mild, moderate and the severe OSAS groups.

对120例受试者行上气道CT扫描，分别测出鼻咽腔、口咽腔和喉咽腔截面积的大小，比较OSAS病人和正常人间上气道截面积的差别，以及轻、中、重度OSAS病人间上气道截面积的差别。
