In the sixth chapter, according to our nations situations, a probing study on the development and application of natural mordenite was carried out at the aim to develop a new adsorbent carrier and reduce the cost of adsorbent preparation. The characters of natural mordenite were chemically changed by an acid. The effects of the acid solution concentration, temperature, mordenite size and treatment times on the physico-chemical characters of mordenite were undertaken. The adsorption equilibrium of CO on the character-changed natural mordenite was measured.
