The absorption resistance has something to do with lithology,degree of lithogenesis and thickness of caprock.The smaller the grain size of caprock is, the higher the content of clay mineral is, the stronger the degree of lithogensis is and the thicker the caprock is, the stronger the absorption resistance and the sealing ability of caprock are.

In the sixth chapter, according to our nations situations, a probing study on the development and application of natural mordenite was carried out at the aim to develop a new adsorbent carrier and reduce the cost of adsorbent preparation. The characters of natural mordenite were chemically changed by an acid. The effects of the acid solution concentration, temperature, mordenite size and treatment times on the physico-chemical characters of mordenite were undertaken. The adsorption equilibrium of CO on the character-changed natural mordenite was measured.
