吩咐

As Moses the servant of Jehovah had commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses, an altar of unhewn stones upon which no one had lifted up an iron tool.

8：31 是照着耶和华仆人摩西所吩咐以色列人的话，正如摩西律法书上所写的，用没有动过铁器的整块石头筑的。

As Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded the children of Israel, and it is written in the book of the law of Moses: an altar of unhewn stones which iron had not touched: and he offered upon it holocausts to the Lord, and immolated victims of peace offerings.

Of unhewn stones on which no iron tool had been used, in keeping with the command to the Israelites of Moses, the servant of the LORD, as recorded in the book of the law. On this altar they offered holocausts and peace offerings to the LORD.

Although the works done by unregenerate men may in themselves be things which God commands and things which are useful to themselves and others, yet – because they do not come from a heart purified by faith, are not done in a right manner according to the Word, and are not done for the right purpose, which is to glorify God – they are therefore sinful, and cannot please God or make one suitable to receive his grace.

七、未重生之人所行的事，虽然事情本身可能是上帝所吩咐的，对己对人都有益处，但因为行这事的是未信之人，他的心还没有因信得洁净，而且也不是按照上帝的道、以正当的方法行，目的也不是荣耀上帝，所以也不正确﹔因此仍是罪行，不能讨上帝的喜悦，也不能使人有资格领受上帝的恩典。
