This paper, based on the structures and characteristics of the cloud system on satellite image, classifies the evolusion of this typhoon into 4 stages-the developing stage, the landing stage, the merging stage of typhoon clouds with cold front clouds to the north and the changing stage of typhoon clouds to extra-tropical cyclone clouds.

本文按卫星云图上显示的9711号台风云系演变特徵，将9711号台风活动过程分为四个阶段，即发展加强阶段、登陆阶段、台风外围云系与北方冷锋云系合并阶段及台风云系向温带气旋云系演变阶段。

The observations show that the typhoon rainfalls over Taiwan area are significantly affected by the Taiwan orography. Heavy rainfalls usually observed over the up-slope area of the typhoon cyclonic circulation impending the mountains.

从台风降水资料分析显示，台湾地区台风降水和地形有相当密切的关系，各地较大降水发生时机是当台风中心移到台风之气旋式环流可吹向地形，当地处於迎风面时发生。

探究结果表明：TC尺度有明显的季节变化特征，平均尺度在4月份最大，达到230.4km，2月份最小，为69.5km；TC尺度有明显的区域分布不均匀性，TC尺度出现最大值的区域位于28.6～29.5°N，131.1～133.0°E的海面上，而在123°E以东和12°N以南地区，TC尺度往往都在200km以下；对于不同强度的TC，其尺度和强度变幅有明显差异，热带风暴的24h尺度变幅最大，而台风的24h强度变幅最大；TC尺度和强度的相关性在不同路径下是有差异的，西北行、西行、北上型的TC尺度和强度呈显著的正相关，两者的相关系数达到了0.93以上，东北行和回旋型的TC尺度和强度的相关系数接近0.6，转向型TC的相关系数在0.85左右；此外，TC尺度和强度的相关性在其生命史的不同阶段也存在显著差异，在发展期，尺度和强度的相关性最好，其相关系数。。。

First, this study analyzes how "New Tai Feng" enters into Taiwan contemporary art and understands the social background, during the years of 1995-2005; Second, carefully combs Taiwanese lower layer in search for the special artistic attributes that could be the basis of sampling the "New Tai Feng" art works; At last, compares and analyzes from the selected representative art works, in order to have an insight into the courses and effects of New Tai Feng's blooming, decline and bulling activities, and also have a clear understanding of how it stands at the watershed of the multi-trended future.

本研究首先分析1995-2005年间，「新台风」是如何进入台湾当代艺术的脉络，了解「新台风」崛起的社会文化背景；其次再耙梳台湾底层的美感特质，作为取样「新台风」作品的依据；最后从代表性的「新台风」作品中进行比较与分析，期能更深入地洞悉「新台风」在台湾当代艺术中骚热、消退、哄抬的过程效应，及如何处於未来多重走向的分水岭。

对中、美、澳三国AMEX试验期间&向阳红5号&定点观测到的气象和海洋资料分析得出：①台风形成前，大气整个中、低层空气湿度较大，台风一旦形成，大气湿度最大层主要集中在中空；②风速垂直切变小，对形成台风是一个必要条件，但并非整个对流层风速切变都小，而且不同地区形成的台风，风速切变状况是不同的；③厄尔尼诺年南半球与北半球对应位置同期的θ_G、θ_8、Q_b相差不大，但是南半球的θ_c较北半球的大。

It is concluded that during the landfall of Saomai, the orographic uplifting is able to enlarge the rainfall of the typhoon, and also to enhance the centre potential vorticity, vertical velocity as well as the convergence of moisture flux obviously.

结果表明，台风登陆过程中地形抬升作用对台风降雨量有显著的增幅作用；台风中心位势涡度、气流垂直上升速度、水平水汽通量散度明显增大；地形抬升机制在台风登陆时刻达到最强。
