The importance of studying shrinking of polystyrene pattern for evaporative pattern casting is pointed out in this paper.After studying effects of technological factorsexpandable polystyrene(EPSbead diameter,pre-expansion time,age time of pre-expansion bead,molding steam pressure,storage time and temperature of pattern on shrinking of pattern,it is shown that the stress relaxation of pattern and the escape of pentane and water in pattern are main cause of pattern shrinking.

指出了对消失模铸造用聚苯乙烯模样收缩展开研究的必要性，研究了可发性聚苯乙烯珠粒粒径、预发泡时间、预发泡珠粒熟化时间、成形蒸汽压力及模样的放置时间、贮存温度对模样收缩的影响，认为模样中发泡剂和水分的挥发以及应力的释放是引起模样收缩的主要原因，最后提出了在实际生产中为减少模样收缩应采取的措施。

In this paper,the behavioral,physiological, ecological adaption mechanism of H.armigera and H.assulta to their common host plant tobacco were studied comparatively,and the main results were summarized as follows:Electroantennogram response of adult to tobacco volatiles:(1) H.armigera and H.assulta elicited similar EAG responses to the tested 20 tobacco volatiles;both of them elicited significantly more sensitive to green leaf volatiles,aliphatic and aromatic compounds, than to monoterpene,sesquiterpene,heterocyclic compounds under lower concentration; while the similar EAG responses under higher concentration were detected,but most of them were not significantly different with each other.

本文从行为、生理和生态适应三个方面，对棉铃虫和烟夜蛾与烟草间的互作进行了比较研究，主要结果如下：成虫对烟草挥发物的EAG反应：(1)两种夜蛾对测试的20种烟草挥发物均可产生EAG反应；低浓度下对绿叶气味、脂肪族、芳香族化合物的EAG反应显著高于单萜类、倍半萜类和杂环化合物；高浓度下的EAG反应也表现出相似的总体反应趋势，但多数反应值间的差异未达显著水平。

Flame retardants may interrupt or change the decomposition process in several ways:(1)they may melt at relatively low temperatures and resolidify in the form of a foam, which serves as a barrier to heat transfer from the flame to the substrate;(2) they may be converted upon heating into acids or bases, which catalyze the decomposition of the substrate at lower temperatures than are required for the formation of volatile combustibles;(3 ) they may decompose orsublime upon heating to release large amounts of nonflammable vapors which exclude oxygen from the flame; or (4) they may react with chemicakl species within the flame to stop the combustion reaction.
