This thesis has made a deep study on lacustrine sequence stratigraphy and its application to oil and gas exploration and development, based upon the latest theory of sequence stratigraphy, limnology and petroleum geology incorporated with sedimentology, geophysics, tectonics, geochemistry, paleontology, paleoecology, ichnology, paleogeomagnatics and mislaneous analytical means.
