This thesis focuses on beetle Cybister tripunctatus in addition to some other species of beetles and studied the elytron's micro-structure. We found that there are many concaves、hollows and holes on its structure; the configuration of this material is compound samdwich; the linkage-structure between elytra adopts the concave-protuberant mesh joint with some bristle.

本文以东方龙虱为重点研究对象，并综合了四个科的十个物种，通过对甲虫鞘翅微结构的观测，发现东方龙虱鞘翅表面遍布着很小的凹坑；从其鞘翅断面来看，内部存在着许多空腔和孔道结构，而且甲虫鞘翅是复合层状结构；对鞘翅间联接处研究发现，联接机构采用了凹凸啮合结构，在局部区域存在微小毛刺和突起结构来增加摩擦接触。

Results: there were no located signs of nervous system lesions were found in all patients. 8 cases have undergone head CT or MR examination emergently, and no obvious brain lesions were found.

结果：所有患者均未发现神经系统病变定位体征，8例急诊行头颅 CT 或 MR 检查，未发现明显脑部病变，血液生化学检查结果显示2例患者合并轻度低钠血症。

Mutation of the gARID1 binding site in the cwp1 promoter resulted in a decrease of promoter activity and mRNA levels during vegetative growth and encystation, suggesting that the gARID1 binding sites are positive cis-acting elements of the cwp1 gene promoters in both trophozoites and encysting cells. Using cotransfection assay, we also found overexpession of gARID1 can increase luciferase activity and mRNA levels, while mutation of the gARID1 binding sites of the cwp1 promoter resulted loss of this transactivation.

我们也用萤光酵素基因接上cwp1基因启动子，如果将其cwp1启动子上的gARID1结合位置突变，也可以发现萤光酵素和讯息RNA的表现有明显的下；再用cotransfection assay，可发现gARID1会使萤光酵素和讯息RNA表现明显上升，然而如果将其cwp1启动子上的gARID1结合位置突变，这种转活化则消失。

ARID (AT-rich interaction domain) protein is a transcription factor family in higher eukaryotes that regulates cell proliferation, development, and differentiation. Specificity of DNA binding ability in this family prefers AT-rich sequences, but some ARID family proteins are not sequence-specific DNA-binding proteins or they do not bind AT-rich sequences. We found two genes that encode ARID in Giardia lamblia genome database, garid1 and garid2. We analyzed the function of garid1 first. AU1-tagged gARID1 was found to localize to nuclei. During encystation, gARID1 mRNA level decreased emphatically, but protein level increased. We also found that gARID1 can bind AT-rich initiator of the cwp1 promoter by EMSA. Mutation analysis revealed gARID1 binding sequence was AGATC and AATAAAATA. We used ChIP to demonstrate that gARID1 can bind cwp1 gene promoter in vivo.

ARID(AT-rich interaction domain)蛋白质家族是真核生物的一种转因子，在许多同种的真核生物有它的同源基因，这个家族的蛋白质通常与调控细胞的生长、发育和分化的作用有关，而这个家族的蛋白质和DNA的结合能，各种ARID蛋白质的专一性尽相同，过大致上偏好於和AT-rich的序结合；我们已经在形鞭毛虫的基因组中找到个含有ARID 的基因，分别是garid1和garid2，我们首先对於garid1做分析；将AU1标记接到gARID1转染形鞭毛虫，用免疫萤光染色可发现gARID1存在於细胞核中。gARID1的讯息RNA在囊体化后会明显下，过其阳性染色和蛋白质表现有明显增加；EMSA实验中也发现gARID1会明显的与cwp1基因启动子之AT-rich initiator结合，经由突变序分析，也显示gARID1的结合序为AGATC和AATAAAATA，随后我们也用ChIP证明gARID1在细胞内也的确会和cwp1基因的启动子结合。

In addition, ioding was found to be an efficient catalyst for the imino Diels-Alder reaction of N-arylimine and enol ethers and the reaction provided tertrahydroqinolines in good yields. One pot synthesis of tetrahydroqinolines from aldehyde, aniline and enol ethers was also achieved using iodine as the catalyst. The chemical yield of the"one pot"reaction was comparable with that obtained using preformed N-arylimine.

Small intestinal biopsies showed subepithelial collagen deposition with varying degrees of villous atrophy and varying numbers of intraepithelial lymphocytes. Four patients had previous biopsies showing enteropathic changes without collagen deposition. Seven cases were associated with collagenous colitis and 1 also had features of lymphocytic colitis. Three patients also had collagen deposition in gastric biopsies. One case was associated with lymphocytic gastritis. Celiac disease (CD, gluten-sensitive enteropathy) was documented in 4 patients. Five patients made a clinical improvement with combinations of a gluten-free diet and immunosuppressive therapy. Two patients died of complications of malnutrition and 1 of another illness. Clonal T-cell populations were identified in 5 of 6 cases tested. Four of these patients improved clinically after treatment but 1 has died. Collagenous sprue evolved on a background of CD in 4 cases. There was no history of CD in others and these cases may be the result of a biologic insult other than gluten sensitivity.
