The expression of cogging torque is deduced on dual-stator permanent magnet synchronous machine, and the influence rules of the resulting cogging torque are analyzed with the change of relative angle between dual stators. The relation between cogging torque amplitude and the relative angle between dual stators is investigated. Finally, simulation verification is conducted based on finite element method.
