It was traditionally believed that the stylistic deforms in literary translations are more often than not caused by linguistic differences between the source and target languages. This paper, however, argues that many of such deforms actually result from the translators?misreading of the stylistic deviations, phenomena poetically motivated and foregrounded, in the original as linguistic differences between the two languages.

以往有不少学者和翻译家常将文学翻译中的文体体现失误归结为两种语言之间的差异，本文对这一传统观念提出质疑，认为很多这样的失误实际上是由于译者错误地将原文中的具有诗学功能的文体变异当成语言差异而造成的。
