In this study,the anaerobic degradation and aerobic degradation of a kind of acid dye——Acid Mordant Dark Yellow GG were compared.

The results indicated that anaerobic sludge could only decompose Acid Mordant Dark Yellow GG in the presence of glucose while aerobic sludge decomposes Acid Mordant Dark Yellow GG with or without the presence of glucose.
