In 1947, the famous late Italian director Giorgio Strehler established a piccolo teatro in Milan to interpret traditional Italian opera works. He had directed five times the performance of Arlecchino, Servant of Two Masters adopted by Carlo Goldoni, and had reintroduced the excellence of commedia dell'arte and made this piece of theatrical work shine brilliantly.
