Objective To investigate tire association of single nucleotide polymorphism in matrix metalloproteinase-3 promoter with susceptibility to the middle cerebral arteriostenosis.

Results: The processes of cerebral angiography in all cases were successful, and 204 arteriostenosis points were found. Although vessel spasm occurred in 3 cases, slight anaphylaxis occurred in 2 cases, and hematomas at puncture point were found in 8cases, no severe complication such as death, coma, hemiplegia or aphasia occurred.

结果：全组153例患者中共发现动脉狭窄204处，术中并发脑血管痉挛3例，造影剂轻微过敏反应2例，术后穿刺部位血肿8例，全组无死亡或昏迷、偏瘫、失语等严重并发症。
