The purpose of this study was to investigate the pathogenic mechanism of Clonorchis sinensis. Male wistar rats were utilized as experimental animals and randomly divided into three groups. Two of them, which were divided into drug-treated and control groups were fed with metacercaria of Clonorchis sinensis.

Results:UU positive rates from the lung and spleen in the newborn mice by UU infection(3.5×10~4 CCU/ml,5×10~5 CCU/ml,and 10~6 CCU/ml) were 0 and 0,2.7 and 1.4,and 74.4 and 30.3,respectively.Conclusions:The UU vertical transmission animal model during the course of cyesis was constructed successfaly through genital infection with UU in the pregnant mice.
