According the characters of NC cutting parameter decision, we take decision based on NC techniques rule, cutting case matching based on similar degree and cutting parameter correcting based on rules to design and realize system. Combining many field technologies, it makes a unique method to resolve NC cutting parameter problem. This design pattern is a new thinking for NC cutting parameter process.

The standard workpiece of the ring compression test by Lee and Altan will be used in this report. The specimen will first annealed to eliminate the internal stress and then through different ways of machining to produce different roughness of surface and different direction of machining marks. The ring compression test with various lubricants and dry friction were carried out at room temperature. The experiment results were drawn on the diagram of friction factor developed by Lee and Altan to compare the influence of the roughness of surface to plastic forming with or without lubricants.

Frictional experiments using a self-designed "multifunction servo friction and abrasion experiment machine" with the multi-parameter synchronous data collection system and online data processing software have been made on six types of rocks. The analyses of the experiments results indicate that earthquake faults with large displacement bring up a series of products continually changing from cataclasis to melting. The rocks contained mafic minerals are easier to melt and the gas bubbles in melting products proved the hydroxy water from the minerals has participated the rock melting process and decreased the melting point of the rock. Frictional melting is more sensitive to speed than normal stress. The temperature sharply increases at about 40℃/sec when the sample enters the earthquake fault state. While the melting happens, torsion decreases instantly and there is perhaps a "blind region" of normal stress.
