The results would be the scientific reference to the reinforcement of brick-and-clay city gate. At the same time, the reinforcement method of barking concrete structure, another available method to renovations of brick-and-clay city gate, is put forward in this paper.

Through examining and analyzing of the crack in corbel of bridge of Dangtu road in Hefei, a strengthening scheme to paste the steel plate is put forward. The theory of non-linear finite is adopted to analyze the scheme with three dimensional finite element. The result of stress at the crack point which has been reinforced is also made clear.
