本文针对长运距、大倾角、高强度带式输送机设计过程中存在的问题，从四个方面对大倾角带式输送机进行分析研究：从理论上解析大倾角带式输送机的计算过程，从大倾角带式输送机的理论入手，详细计算物料的横截面面积、圆周力、滚筒轴功率和电机功率，利用逐点计算法计算各个滚筒的合张力以及传动滚筒的扭距，计算出胶带的最大张力和最大逆止力矩，给长运距、大倾角皮带机在煤矿井下的使用给予理论上的支持。
