A new method of designing the "derivate operator" and a new Walsh spectral method based on quasi-Walsh order are proposed, which primarily prove the special uses of it.

The characteristic of maintainability models and maintainability analysis based on virtual technique is researched to give the maintainability frame model of civil airplane virtual maintainability analysis. All levels of maintenance time model and maintenance man-hour model are established. Analog-Huffman code is proposed to optimize space partition method in traditional collision detection arithmetic."Maintenance therblig"is brought into the broken down of maintenance tasks, and the new maintenance tasks broken down method is proposed. The demands of human measure, position, and equipment layout in human engineering are discussed, and the verification methods of human measure, position and equipment layout in virtual maintenance are given. Basic principle and verification procedure of maintainability virtual verification is developed primarily, and the reachablity, the visibility, and posture-comfortability are verified.

Beginning with wave equation, the paper has deduced the propagation of gauss pulses in single mode fiber and fiber grating transmission compensation. The characteristics of cascaded phase-shift gratings are discussed by numerical simulations of coupled-mode theory and T-matrix method. The experimental works and measurement results are shown in this paper. On the other hand, we have introduced the basic theory of EDFA and figured out the characteristics for EDFA at different conditions by numerical simulation. Some experimental results for EDFA are also presented here.
