During cell division,chromosome segregation is governed by the interaction of spindle microtubules with the kinetochore.

细胞分裂时，染色体的分离由纺锤体微管协同动点完成。从纺锤体两极发出的极间微管发生重排，在分开移向两极的染色单体之间形成严密整齐的动态结构：中心纺锤体。

The centromere contains the kinetochore, a structure involved in the attachment of the chromosomes to the spindle during nuclear division.

着丝点上包含了着丝粒，着丝粒确保细胞在分裂中染色体与纺锤体的整合，发生有序的染色体分离。

And the chromosome movements in mitosis are orchestrated by dynamic interactions between spindle microtubules and the kinetochore,a multi-protein complex assembled onto centromeric DNA of the chromosome.

有丝分裂过程中染色体的运动和分离又是通过纺锤体微管和位于染色体着丝粒上的动点之间的协同作用来完成的。
