The fall of LH and FSH in serum after HDMA therapy arose from the suppression of the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis. Otherwise, the elevation of E2 and PRL was unassociated with the clinical effect of HDMA therapy, but the high levels of the E2 and PRL are adverse to the prognosis o the patients.
