Experiments show the new algorithm can segment the road regions correctly.The structured road edges can be represented by straight line or segmented lines.

Aimed at resolving the problems of sensitivity to noise and over-segmentation existing in traditional watershed algorithm, a new image segmentation method-CWAC is presented.
