The maximum decrease of friction coefficient is about 15% with 0.025% CNTs additive at the load of 300 N. The antiwear mechanism has been discussed.

The results showed that the tensile strength and elongation at break of the objective silicone rubber increased with the increase of vinyl content in PDM-MVS. The tensile strength was 3.9 MPa and elongation at break was 416%, and the reinforcement effect of PS on silicone rubber was significant when the mass fraction of vinyl was 1.50%. The objective silicone rubber had microphase-separated structure consisting of PS domains uniformly dispersed within a continuous PDM-MVS matrix. The compatibility between the two phases increased with the increase of vinyl content in PDM-MVS.
