Mehtod: animals were given intraperitoneally normal saline(10ml/kg.d), phenobarbital (40mg/kg.d) and puerarin (100, 200mg/kg.d) respectively for seven days. Then the levels of hepatic microsomal CYP and cytochrome b5(Cytb5), and the activities of aniline hydroxylase and aminopyrine N-demethylase were determined by spectrophotography.
