Vacuum freeze-drying is a technology used for drying, color protection, fresh keeping, or nutrition preservation of food, biologics, biomaterials, or micro/nano materials. Its principle is to use sublimation principle under the vacuum state, and to obtain dried products, whereby frozen water in the material sublime or shift directly from the frozen state to a gas state, and watery element is removed without melt.
