With ADAS 3-D data assimilation system, reanaiysis data of NCEP, radar echo andGMS5 satellite image had been applied to simulate the event.

本文利用非静力平衡的中尺度模式ARPS(V5.2)，使用1°×1°NCEP再分析资料，运用ADAS 三维同化系统对雷达回波、红外云图进行了同化，然后进行了48小时数值模拟，并设计了四个敏感性试验。

With the ADAS 3-D data assimilation system, the NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data of 1°×1°, radar echoes and GMS-5 satellite images are assimilated into the ARPS to simulate the torrential rain event.

所利用的资料为：2000 年8 月29-31 日每日4 个时次(00、06、12、18) 1°×1°的 NCEP/ NCAR 再分析资料及713 雷达资料、 GMS-5 红外云图、探空报、地面加密资料。

By using the NCEP reanalysis data to run POM, the basical characteristics of the Kuroshio Current, the large-scale anticyclonic warm vortex on the right of it, and the SCS warm current are well simulated. The feature of the great influence of the monsoon on the SCS currents is also shown.

4使用NCEP再分析资料驱动区域海洋模式POM，较好地模拟出了黑潮海流、黑潮右侧的大尺度反气旋性暖涡及南海暖流等海流的基本特征，并反映出南海海流受季风影响较大的特点。

By using the NCEP/NCAR (National Center for Environmental Prediction/National Center for Atmospheric Research) reanalysis of daily with the horizontal resolution of 1.0°x1.0°(lat./lon. grid), the representative Pacific area (0°~60°N, 160°E~120°W) in northern hemisphere summer (Jun-Jul-Aug) is chosen to analyse the 3-D wind field, according to which the mean meridional circulation of the lower and middle latitudes, especially the Ferrel cell, is studied and a new concept model of Ferrel cell is carried out. Compared with the classical model, the new one describes more precisely the low- and high- level winds and has the ability to describe how the westerlies sustain on the real rotating Earth.

本文利用1998~2003年的NCEP/NCARNational Center for Environmental Prediction/National Center for Atmospheric Research，美国国家环境预报中心／美国国家大气研究中心）再分析资料（1.0°×l.0°，经／纬度网格），根据北半球夏季（6~8月）太平洋地区(0°~60°N； 160°E~120°W的三维风场的基本特征，分析了北半球夏季太平洋地区平均经圈环流，特别是Ferrel环流的特征，发现Ferrel环流具有与已往研究不同的性质，并在此基础上提出了Ferrel环流新的概念模型，与过去的经典的环流概念模型相比能较好地描述高低空环流的基本特征，同时在考虑地球自转效应下，能够完满地解释中高纬度西风带的维持。

By using global reanalysis data from NCEP/NCAR,the durative of a floating dust over Beijing during 7-10 in April of 2006 was analyzed.It was found that the impact systems of the floating dust weather were West Siberia cold eddy,Okhotsk warm high and Tibetan Plateau high ridge at the level of 500 hPa;the dry-cold air at the level of 700 hPa transferred to Beijing ceaselessly,and the cold advection and baroclinic instability were strong,the gale and dust storm occurred in the strong cold advection area;the weak instability stratification in surface layer and mid-low level in the south of North China resulted in weak ascending air flow,then transported dust particles to Beijing depending on the easterly wind in front of the surface low pressure.

文章摘要：使用NCEP/NCAR再分析资料对2006年4月7-11日北京浮尘天气过程的持续性进行分析，指出此次浮尘天气过程主要受500 hPa西西伯利亚冷涡、鄂霍次克海暖高压以及青藏高原高压脊影响；700 hPa有干冷空气不断向北京地区输送，冷平流和斜压性都很强，大风和沙尘暴发生在强冷平流区域；由于华北南部地区近地面至中低层存在弱的不稳定层结，容易产生弱的上升运动。

The features of the interannual relationship between winter sea-ice extent of Davis strait and rainfall of North China and the interdecadal variability of its interannual relationship are analyzed by Using UK/GISST sea-ice data-set of Hadley , monthly 500Hpa height field of NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data and monthly rainfall data from 160 stations in China.
