In the layout analysis, we chose a bottom-up algorithm based on nearest neighbor connect-strength and line confidence to segment the image area, table area and text area; In the printed Chinese character recognition module, we calculate the degree of incorporative difference to match the character, also define a refusal class which could orientate the mathematical expression automatically; Put the expression into the formula processing module, then we chose the character segmentation method based on connectivity and the template match method to recognize the character in the mathematical expression and at last we used the structure analysis based on the character to transform the two dimension formula into one dimension Word EQ expression.

在版面分析中，采用基于最近邻连接强度和行列可信度的自底向上的版面分析算法，分割出图像区域、表格区域和文本区域；在汉字识别模块中，采用回溯切分方法切分出字符段，计算合并差异度与特征字典比较，通过引入汉字的拒识类，从而实现了公式的定位；将定位后的数学公式送入公式识别器，在公式识别器中采用基于连通域搜索的字符分割方法和模板匹配方法对字符识别，对于识别出的字符，再采用基于特征字符的结构分析方法，从而将二维的数学公式转化为一维的Word EO域语句。

Firstly,the minimum interclass variance method was improved to obtain the optimal segmentation threshold of difference image quickly,and then,the region growing method was used to segment the target.

By the minimum risk Bayes decision theory, this paper develops a new way of image segmentation: establish the mathematics model of image segmentation; estimate the probability density of grey scales and figure out its math-expectation and square difference that accord with normal distribution and the loss function; and judge the every pixel dot in the image according to the minimum risk Bayes decision theory and determine whether it is of target or non-target images, thereby realizing the extraction of the target image.

This dissertation brings forward and realizes one method of establishment of handwritten Chinese character library on account of feature of characters' shape: first, scan the characters wrote on paper to the image file, then break up the whole piece of characters image to solo character, and do some feature extraction. After this, pick up the feature of the image and write in file supervened.

本文提出并实现了基于字形特征的手写体汉字字库的构建方法：先将在纸上书写出的字符扫描成图像文件，然后对整幅的字符图像进行分割，将其分割成一个个的字符，再对图像进行一系列的预处理，接着抽取图像特征，写入文件。

Based on the relationship between the numerical aperture of the objective lens and scale pitch, this study chooses a suitable Plano-convex lenses available on the market, so as to approximate the diameter of the focusing spots to scale pitch. Also, by using the optical path of an optical encoder similar to the nanoscale, the changes in the surface profile of the scale can be measured directly, so as to obtain the two quadrature sinusoidal signals. By counting the zero crossing of these two quadrature sinusoidal signals and calculating the interpolation value of these two quadrature sinusoidal signals, the moving direction and moving displacement value of the scale can be obtained.

研究中再以搭配物镜的数值孔径与尺条间距的关系，选择ㄧ适当的市售平凸透镜，使聚焦光点的直径与尺条的间距相近，并使用相同於奈米级长行程双雷射聚焦读头装置的光路设计，如此将可藉由直接量测尺条的表面轮廓变化，以获得一组正交弦波讯号，继而利用讯号四分割与细分割处理，计算出尺条之移动方向与移动量，研制出一实用性长行程双雷射聚焦读头光学尺。

Firstly,an image was segmented respectively by the two-peaked histogram method,the Otsu method and the consistency criteria method. Then a criterion to value the image quality based on information entropy was made by rules,which was related to the image sizes of objects. The appropriate threshold value,by which image segmentation was implemented to judge the burden temperature distribution most efficiently,was obtained.

该方法首先利用双峰法、最大方差法和一致性准则法分别对图像进行区域分割，再根据图像目标大小，运用知识规则制定判断图像质量的信息熵评价准则，选择合适的分割阈值，获得对判断料面温度分布最有利的图像区域特征。

A content based adaptive mesh generation algorithm is proposed in this paper. At first, a watershed algorithm of mathematical morphology is used to segment image into many homogeneous regions so that watershed lines can better represent image structure, contours, and edges. Boundaries of these regions are approximated by polygons that can be represented with a few parameters. Each end point of polygonal sides serves as candidate node of mesh model.
