When the NaCl concentration exceeds 5%, the titanium tanning action is reduced rapiddly. Traditional NaCl pickling is unsuitable for titanium tannage, tanning in water medium directly, the best tanning effect can be obtained, so titanium tanning can not only eliminate chrome pollution, but also diminish salt pollution. The optimum tanning conditions for HPZ-Ti tan liquor are pH3. 5, TiO〓 offer of 7. 5%(based on the weight of 65% moisture pelt), the best Bascity of tan liquor is between 30% and 50%.
