A high failure rate of stand-alone, short-segment pedicular fixation in the setting of thoracolumbar burst fractures prompted the development of the load-sharing classification system of thoracolumbar fractures, which allowed guidance in understanding the potential for failure of posterior instrumentation alone in the setting of significant disruption of the anterior vertebral body.

Ovarian stromal flow PSV, EDV and perifollicular vascularity are highly interrelated with ovarian response. Follicular fluid VEGF level was obviously higher in poor responder group, which suggests VEGF be secreted increasing for compensating due to reduced ovarian stromal blood velocity and fewer perifollicular vascularity.
