The results are as follows:(1) The relative spectrum sensitivity of the two kinds of compound eyes were similar, both were most sensitive to wavelength of 562nm, and also sensitive to wavelength of 400nm、483nm;(2) The absolute sensitivity curves to these three kinds of sensitive light of the two kinds of compound eyes were similar, all increase with the increment of luminance strength, but the compound eyes of corn borer had stronger response to wavelength of 562nm and 483nm;(3) The two kinds of compound eyes showed similar absolute sensitivity curves to white light, however, showed different sensitivity to light at different time or under different adaptative state.
