The conclusions drawn from the analysis of the compressible turbulence are:(1) Statistical results including the skewness of velocity derivative are in satisfactory agreement with the known results, verified the effectiveness and validness of our schemes for DNS of turbulence.(2) Based on the idea of Samtaney for extracting discontinuities in compressible flows, the shocklets are successfully captured and the shock strength is statistically analyzed.
