Methods: The hair samples were collected from 41 youth of Chinese Han in Shanghai. The amino acid makeup was analyzed by amino acid analyzer. The outer surface and cross section of hair were observed. The radial swelling of hair was determined by polarizing microscope. The tensile study of hair fiber was performed by mechanical testing machine.

收集41例上海地区汉族青年的头发样品，使用氨基酸与多肽分析仪进行氨基酸定量分析，使用电镜观察并测量头发表面及横断面形态，应用偏光显微镜测量头发的吸水径向膨胀特性，应用纤维强力试验机检测头发的拉伸性能。
