In the process of exchanging with Sister Cities, we have made three aspects of development: first, from 1993 to 2007, these 15 years witnessed the increasing numbers of sister cities; second, exchange visits extended from governments to nongovernmental organizations. Third, in the extension of exchange fields, it had diverse communications from culture, education to health, physics, economics, and social development.

在国际友城交往过程中，我们实现了三个方面的延伸：首先是友城数量的不断延伸，从1993年开始到2007年，15年间友城数量不断增加；二是政府间高层互访向各部门及民间交往的不断延伸；三是交往领域的延伸，从文化教育的交流到卫生、体育、经济和社会发展等多元化的交往。
