The yolk proteins were collected through the anatomization of the maiden eggs and the eggs in different embryo development stages. The yolk proteins were separated by two-dimensional electrophoresis and followed the image analysis. Over 203 protein spots were found to exist in the yolk protein of silkworm eggs.
